On His Radio Show Today, Glenn Beck Asks Why Sarah Palin Is Campaigning For Rick Perry:

Glenn Beck: “There are more and more people that are starting to look at the progressive history that get it. And that’s the thing I don’t understand about Sarah Palin, because she does get it. She gets it. But then she’s standing with people like John McCain and Rick Perry. Now maybe, maybe it’s because you can’t be an island, but I’d rather be an island than stand with people who are progressives.”

Beck Takes Issue With Perry’s Stands On Border Security And The HPV Vaccine:

Pat Gray: “In campaign mode, there’s nobody better. But when it comes time to govern, he moves back to the left, or you know, to the center at least – center, center-leftish, in there somewhere – and he’s nowhere near the conservative he is right now. I mean right now, if this was Rick Perry during his entire term, I’d absolutely be wholeheartedly in favor of Rick Perry.”

Beck: “I am – man, I’d vote for the guy for president. But then I’ve seen what he’s done on the border.”

Gray: “Yep. And with the HPV virus vaccine, where he wanted to mandate that for all women over 9 years old, or 11 years old, whatever it was. And then there was the – I won’t go into it. But it was a problem. It was a major issue.”

Beck: “So there is Rick Perry in a nutshell. Congratulations on that.”
